About this ebook
In Book One of The Immortal Testimonies, Jeremy is stuck, like most young New Yorkers, in a world between adolescence and adulthood. Just when he thought that he was an average, blend-in-with-the-crowd gay kid, he becomes the victim of a terrible act of homophobia. Thankfully, a mysterious something comes to his aid. Garth is a gargoyle, trapped in stone and cursed to live an immortal life. Human and monster must become friends and confront the mysterious and magical events of the past that have brought them together.
Jeremy Jordan King
Jeremy grew up in South Jersey, where his primary life goal was to become a mermaid. When that proved impossible, he decided the next best thing would be to move to New York City and study theater at Marymount Manhattan College. He lived an actor’s life for several years before he began writing. Besides fiction, he dabbles in essays, screen/playwriting, and illustration. He lives in Manhattan.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5King presents a fresh take on the gargoyle mythology. His characters are quirky and easy to love, though one or two are perhaps overly brooding. The history and setting are rich with detail and color, transporting the readers to this world. The plot could be slightly better developed, as some of it seems to drag or skip over important details. The freshness makes up for this, though, and will definitely keep readers interested until the very end.
