Why could he never seem to stay out of trouble? It was as if trouble followed him around. Even when he wasn’t looking for a fight, one would always find him. Here he was, yet again; being carted off in the back of a police car. It wasn’t even his fault. He had simply been defending himself. Josh was used to the rigmarole of being arrested, searched, put in the cells and questioned or cautioned, depending on the offence. This time he had knocked out the other guy’s teeth, so it was a bit more serious than the usual drunken punch-up he had been involved in.

Josh walked into the police station accompanied by two burly police officers who were holding him very tightly. He didn’t know why; it wasn’t as if he could run anywhere. He was a tad unsteady on his feet, having consumed a fair few drinks, but he was on the right side of coherent. He recognised the woman standing at the front desk. She was the one who dealt with him the last time he had been arrested. She was very attractive and rather busty.

Oh no, it’s not you again is it? she asked, playfully.

Yes, I’m very sorry to say it is.
