About this ebook
Their alien reptile planet was dying under a growing red sun, the only life was underground. When rogue scientists discover how to become immortal (almost) by storing their brains in computers they escape secretly on board a colonisation ‘egg pod’ space ship. They find themselves re-born thousands of years later in a new solar system.
The planet already has life, but the existing ecosystem is incompatible with their requirements. They are desperate, they must take over a planet in order to survive and they will do whatever is necessary, which means 're-booting' the planet and its existing life forms.
How can they change their new world to make it suitable for them, and which of the existing life should be saved in their 'ark'? The planet may be fundamentally unsuitable for their reptilian bodies, so can they continue to exist in their original form, or must they develop mutants? Can they survive with their old ‘pride’ social system, especially when personality differences split their small group? If colonisation is to be remotely possible then they must innovate and they must be daring.
This is the story of the birth of something new, eternal and irrepressible. Is it our future or is it our past? Nothing is sacred.
