INTRODUCTION
Disney vacations are family trips for a lifetime with amazing attractions, comfortable accommodations, and fine dining. However, even during the most entertaining family vacations, there are unavoidable periods of boredom and waiting. This book is designed to enhance your visit to Walt Disney World by helping to overcome the inevitable waiting times and by adding fun to your overall experience.
Try some of these games and activities when you are waiting in line at an attraction, walking around the theme parks, or riding in a car, bus, or monorail to get to a park.
Theme Park and Attraction Specific Activities are in the beginning of the book for easy reference. Use an official Disney theme park map at each park to coordinate your visit with these specific games and activities. These games and activities can be completed at each park by following the general touring path formats described below. However, make sure to adjust and customize your touring plans to fit your goals, especially concerning the most popular attractions. The walking directions in this section follow the perspectives of the official maps.
MAGIC KINGDOM: To complete the activities, start in Main Street, U.S.A., then turn left to Adventureland and follow a circular path to the right through Frontierland to Liberty Square. Continue to the upper right to Fantasyland, New Fantasyland and finish in Tomorrowland.
EPCOT: To complete the activities follow a circular path to the right starting at Spaceship Earth and Innoventions in Future World. There are activities to the left at Mission Space and Test Track. To complete the activities at the World Showcase, start with the Mexico Pavilion and proceed in a semicircle to the right all the way to the Canada Pavilion. The final activities are below the Canada Pavilion to the left at the Land Pavilion and at the Seas with Nemo and Friends.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: The activities begin as you walk down Hollywood Boulevard and take a left toward Echo Lake. The activities continue to the left at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and Star Tours. There are a variety of activities to the right in the Streets of America area. There are more activities heading to the right toward the Sorcerer’s Hat, at Pixar Place, and continuing to the right at the Animation Courtyard.
The remaining activities are for the thrill attractions at the end of Sunset Boulevard at the bottom right of the theme park.
ANIMAL KINGDOM: To complete the activities, begin at Discovery Island and the Tree of Life, and then move straight up to Africa and to
