5 things I love about Krakow
Authenticity.
Although becoming increasingly targeted by tourists, Krakow has done a great job balancing the influx of curious visitors with its own rich heritage and culture. Unlike many heavily touristed cities, it has not become lost among the souvenir stands and American fast food on every corner. Even in the city center, locals are very prevalent even among the crowds of tourists. No matter where you go, there is no sign of a tourist

Historical Significance and Preservation.
Krakow is a must-visit for history buffs. From the Jewish Ghettos to the communist model community of Nowa Huta, Krakow provides an intriguing range of historical sites to explore and discover. For those interested in Holocaust studies, Krakow is quite near the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and provides a great base point from which to explore the rest of the Małopolska region. The sites are by and large lovingly well-preserved by teams of caring organizations and individuals who aspire to keep Krakow and its history available to all, for many years to come.
