    Placing her hand on his chest she leaned closer to the angry man, where collecting her in his arms with tender love, he kissed her waiting lips.

    My bride, he whispered, calming down. You have always been my good charm in life. Since we have met, you have been my talisman and my love.

    As they hugged, the children came running over from outside screeching and fighting as all happy children do.

    You took my whistle, said Ayman.

    Did not, said Zayed, the oldest ornery child.

    Where is your sister? asked their mother getting up as her husband tried to pull her back to him.

    Tugging her arm with gentle persuasion, away from him, the good mother went to find her daughter. Leaning out of the open door, she called out into the street.

    Hedaya? Hedaya where are you? Come home immediately.

    Turning around to look at her two sons still arguing, she stepped up and smacked the older one on the back of his head.

    Go find your sister now, Zayed. No discussions, go find her.

    When Zayed hesitated, his father chimed in.

    Listen to your mother, Zayed. Go find your sister.

    Annoyed but obedient, the boy rubbing his stinging head, went outside
