The Spirit Masters’ Introduction

Welcome! We are glad that you are reading our book. Let us start by telling you about ourselves. None of us in our ever-changing group of enlightened, ascended masters is currently engaged in physical experience on planet Earth. Some of us have ascended from physical form, having learned from all the experiences we chose to have as human beings. While we are deciding whether to return for further lessons, we offer assistance to you who are immersed in your own third-dimensional Earth lessons. Some of us are celestial beings who have never incarnated on the Earth plane—whom you have historically referred to as angels and archangels.

We have acted for years as the personal guides of our channel, Toni Ann Winninger, though other guides come to assist her when a matter needing their expertise is being discussed. We recruited this physical channel because of her ease in translating vibrational energy language. We sought a human voice that contained a broad base of experience and information so we could use complicated concepts to provide a depth and fluidity to our communications.

We arranged to have a website in order to assist you who are contained in a physical form to accomplish your various Earth lessons and life missions. We do this as an expression of the unconditional love in which we exist. This book contains some of the messages that have been posted on our website during the first three-and-a-half years of its existence. We asked Toni and her colleagues Peter Watson Jenkins and Sonia Ann Ness to assist us with this publication.

Please pass on this information to your family and friends so that they may read our messages. Awareness

More and more of you are starting to feel where you are and to know the intended contracts and pathways you had envisioned for this incarnation. It is enjoyable for us to witness this transformation within a human being: first being totally controlled by the conscious mind/ego on the Earth plane, determining everything by judgment; then converting this experience into a life of feeling from the heart and soul, which educates your soul for all eternity. We urge you to be steadfast in your progress. Be open to whatever you are bringing to yourself for experience. Live in the present without spending much valuable time on the past or the future. Relish each experience and learn everything that is possible from each situation.

We are always here to help when needed. But lest you forget, we cannot make decisions for you. You have total freedom of choice to determine the way you learn each lesson. Evaluate each experience to see if you want to take the learning further in that area, or if you have had quite enough just as it is. The choice is yours!

The Masters’ language

We want now to define what we mean by some of the terms that we use in this book. We are aware that your language is imprecise in the understanding of some similar words. We also know that some human teachers have adopted and adapted words and phrases which for us have commonly understood concepts, and these teachers have assigned meanings to them that differ from ours. So, because we do not wish our explanations to be misunderstood by you, we have chosen to begin with a few definitions.

We do not speak in the vocabulary of organized religion because religions are constructs in your world to provide guidelines on how to conduct your lives. We know that all souls have freedom of choice to experience whatever they feel can best teach them what they need to learn. We begin with just a few words that are the essence of our message and our existence.

Creator, God, God-Force, Holy Spirit, Source: These terms, and many more, all refer to the point of origin of all that is known by you, and all that exists.

Source (or any of the above regularly used terms in this genre—feel free to use them interchangeably): This is the energy of unconditional love and, when viewed in your judgmental way, of perfection. Source itself makes no judgments; therefore, nothing is right or wrong but is simply whatever experience the soul seeks to undertake.

Everything within that which you call the universe, and within the entirety of your human understanding, is energy, and energy is everything. Source is the highest vibrational energy anywhere and is found in everything. It permeates all that exists but does not interfere with or prevent the soul from having physical experiences.

Source created souls so it could learn all about itself through understanding what it was not. Source is unconditional love. Everything that is not uncompromising, unconditional love adds information and eventually wisdom to the experience of existence. In order to learn, it is necessary to start from a place of having no information. This is accomplished by the incarnate soul’s starting with amnesia as to its true identity.

Souls: When Source wanted to experience other aspects of existence that were not perfect or not unconditional love, the only way to do so was to split off parts of itself into individualized pieces of energy that could have distinctive experiences outside the perfect. We refer to these separate pieces as souls, but remember they are all pieces of Source, so each and every soul is also Source. We address you as fellow souls because we originated from Source in the same fashion as you did and share the distinction of being divisions of Source.

All parts of Source are the same, even though some have chosen to have varying types of human experiences. All souls are equal regardless of the human shell they have chosen to inhabit. No one soul is any better than any other because no one piece of Source is any better than any other. Is a finger or toe of your body any more important or better than any other?

Home: Within modern religious understanding this may be equated with Heaven, Nirvana, Sheol, Tian, Swarga Loka, The Garden of Eden, or Paradise. When a soul finishes each lifetime of lessons it returns Home. Initially this feels to the soul like the womb of its remembered physical sensitivities. But Home is not a physical place; it is an energetic dimension of unconditional love and of conscious connection with Source.

Returning Home involves reintegration into the matrix of all energy, where the lessons recently experienced can be examined and shared with all, in order to incorporate the wisdom of each distinct part into the whole. It is a place where each soul works with its guides, and frequently with its council, to see if it has truly learned the lessons it chose or if it will have to reincarnate in order to fully understand the lesson. Every soul who is not incarnated in a physical form is consciously within the dimension of Home.

All souls—the fundamental energy contained within each and every being—originated and broke off from a single Source. For this reason, no being is any more important than, better than, or less than, any other.

Titles are very important on your planet to give you direction. You label everything to save time. You have doctors, dentists, lawyers, teachers, and government officials. If you did not have labels you would spend precious time, say, talking to a teacher before you learned she was not the dentist that you needed for your abscessed tooth. We choose to be referred to as Masters of the Spirit World—we are non-physical, enlightened beings [spirits] who wish to offer our services to your society in any way that is meaningful to you.

We are everywhere, in everything. It is as easy for a miner working deep in the bowels of the Earth to talk with us as it is for an astronaut in space. It is only necessary to rid oneself of distractions and go into the quiet of one’s soul or inner self to be in conversation with any of us. We have small, silent voices compared to the blaring television set or mp3 player, or the cacophony of traffic and industrial noises.

To hear us you must first be able to listen to your own thoughts, to go into the silence within, as the monks say. So wherever you can bring yourself into that quiet, you can be with us; time and space will not aid your quest. Please come and visit us often.

When we talk about the universe in its broadest terms, we are referring to everything that exists in all dimensions, times, and energies, such as thoughts, vibrations, and sounds. When we speak of the universe as distinguished from one specific person, we refer to everything that is not that individual energy. This is frequently accepted to be the totality of all other energy outside that one soul. Many call this the Source, or the God-Force, which is part and parcel of all souls and all existence.

Contacting spirit guides

Contacting your spirit guides is easier than you think. The crucial issue in understanding the way guides may assist you is to be aware of the way you choose to interact with them. Back Home, before you entered your current body, your council, a group of twelve advisors, helped you to decide exactly what you wanted to experience in this particular life. Together you reviewed those lessons you had not yet learned or completed, but which you wished to incorporate into your wisdom. You visualized how it would best serve you to undertake these lessons, and you decided with whom you needed to have contracts to ensure that you would be confronted with situations needed for each lesson.

Once you had finalized your plan, having personally chosen the type of environment you needed—including the time of your birth, your parents, siblings, health status, and so on—you entered into your chosen body and began your learning process. With all these well-laid plans, the only problem for you was that you came down to Earth with amnesia and now have no idea why you are here!

Before embarking upon your journey, you chose and agreed with other souls to have them available to assist you. Your choice of guides may be constant throughout your lifetime, but it’s more likely that you selected various experts to accompany you into new areas of learning.

Even with all these arrangements in place, the fact is that you are now physical while the guides remain
