About this ebook
When George Keppel, the Earl of Newport, broke off their romance, and married another woman, in 1809, Jane Sommersby was devastated. When his twins were born less than five months after that wedding, Jane swore she’d had a lucky escape; that she had been spared great misery.
Now, it's 1812, and Newport’s a widower who is pursuing her, once more. Like Byron, Newport is dangerous to know.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Jacob Weaver is the Bishop of an Amish community in Pennsylvania. His daughter, Leona, is a school teacher. Englisher Jimmy Scott has come to the area in search of his "real" parents. When he cannot find adoption records he calls the man he always thought of as his father and finds out that he was kidnapped from an Amish family when he was a baby.I highly recommend this book, part 3 in the Daughters of Lancaster County series. Wanda Brunstetter writes about Amish life in a way no one else can write. I was hooked from the first page of the first book of this series and was never disappointed.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Easy read, predictable, but pleasant. Great Bible references and reminder to rely on God's will.
