Hartmut Sieper, owner and managing director of German-based Trans Africa Invest GmbH, attracts investors, companies, technologies and entrepreneurs from industrialized countries to the African markets.Before founding Trans Africa Invest, Sieper worked internationally as an independent business consultant specializing in creating and valuating professional business plans for corporate client and acquiring capital for small and medium enterprises. While working in the former emerging markets of Eastern Europe, he gained expertise with newly founded stock exchanges and rising markets.Prior to this work, he did extensive investment analysis and stock market transactions as co-founder of a German-based venture capital and private equity firm. He also has experience working with several private banks as an asset manager, financial analyst and investment advisor and strategist.He has worked as managing director of the German Association of Technical Analysts in Frankfurt and as a board member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts Inc. in New York.He is the author of several books about investments and capital markets and is a sought-after speaker at seminars on business, commodities, emerging markets and technical analysis of financial markets. He appears on German business television as an expert for investments in Africa.
