Dogging is a slang name for the sexual activity of public, usually outdoor, sex in front of other people and regularly with other people. The activity seems to be especially most organised in the UK with dogging clubs, dogging websites and lists of dogging locations. There are said to be over 500 identified and regularly used dogging locations in the UK. Many are public car parks out in the countryside.

Those exploring dogging seem to fall into a few different categories. There are those women who are bored and looking for some extra excitement in their sex lives. Both married women and single women take part and they are usually the centre of attention of the dogging session. This appears to be an important aspect for the woman.
