Track target, Synergy. Melee ordered as she took another step.

"Four floors down and our weapons are at maximum charge."

Continuing the dangerous climb, Melee cursed with irritation at the information filtering across the bio-tech screen inside her helmet.

Great.

As if my day could get any worse. I should have tapped into the weather station this morning and set the weather patterns to clear and sunny, she thought seconds before Synergy started moaning in her ear again.

"The sudden drop in wind conditions are unpredictable this far up and my sensors detect security hovers nearby. One advises to hurry with extreme caution!"

Thankful for the thermal insulation keeping her body warm this high up, Melee removed her left hand from the cold surface of the building. Sliding the edge of her padded thumb against the locking mechanism, the panel retracted over her ear.

"This action is unnecessary. You are more than aware this Unit is equipped with voice activation..."

I know, Synergy, an exaggerated sign parted her lips before she spoke sharply. "…there are some things I like to do myself."
