CHAPTER 1:
It s raining,
It s dark,
But yet although the wind blows, he couldn’t feel any on his face nor the rain on his skin.
Strange he thought but that thought didn’t last long, because nothing in this world could ever take away this feeling of tranquility he had or the sweet silence and the floating sensation he was in.
For how long he could remember he never felt this way before. The harmony, the serenity, as if everything around him was moving in slow motion. He started thinking; what drug could have possibly given me that feeling.
Although he had plenty of pills, drinks and drugs in his life none had that effect on him.
It was peace at last.
In this blurry moment something urged him to look around and see where he was.
He looked.
Strange faces were gathered around something.
He tried to come closer to see or to ask someone what’s going on, but no one seemed interested in him; they acted as if he wasn’t there.
He tried to go into this crowd and in a second he was in the middle.
Weird
he thought. At his early age, when he arrived at the streets of this big city, alone, running away from the orphanage, he began stealing so he could survive.
Although he was very quick especially when it comes to pickpocket, he knew that no one could ever walk through a crowd that fast.
Once in the middle he turned back and looked at the faces of the people standing there.
All there eyes were fixed at the ground, no one was bothered by him standing there, no one told him to move. He waved in the faces of two persons, but none of them even looked at him.
Some of those people were laughing, telling each others stories about what happened.
Others were silent knowing that this was a sacred moment that something holly was happening, something no mortal could ever run from, or hide from.
Amazed he was by all these strange things happening to him, he turned to see what they were looking at.
Chapter 2:
On the ground in front of him a man was laying covered with blood.
Beside him a young lady was holding his head and crying.
Her tears were mixed with the rain and the blood on the face of that young man, as if the sky was sharing her sorrow.
He felt sorry for the guy, and for this young woman.
But as he was turning to leave, something strange happened.
It was like the effect of that drug was fading away.
And a cry of pain and agony froze him in his place
David, why did you leave me?
a voice so familiar, that left him standing there without any move.
He turned, looked again and there it was the horrifying truth
could it be?
he asked himself
I am in two places at the same time, what kind of sorcery is that?
But little did he know that it was the kind of magic that only life and death brings to this world.
As he was dazzled and confused by this horrifying unexplainable view he raised his hand and looked at it. It was glowing as if made from light. Suddenly everything was clear, he couldn’t accept it at first but there was no escape from the truth.
Shocked and still confused David fell on his knees like a priest kneeling before the altar of god.
He tried to cry but no tears were found.
God
he thought what have I done?
He tried to touch his body but his hand passed right thru it. So he turned to the woman and said:
what have you done to deserve me. All my life I have tried to protect you from the world, but your only demon was me. I condemned you to this life of misery and pain, trying to live a life of luxury and happiness, and the only happiness I had was you.
Chapter 3:
In an act of shame and disgrace David bowed his head and said:
"I m sorry my love for all the suffering I have caused you, forgive me and forget me, without me your life will be better.
As he was about to finish his last worlds a dark tunnel appeared above his corps. He looked up and a light at the end of the tunnel shined upon him.
He knew it was time to go.
So he turned to the woman and tried to touch her head, as if saying his last goodbye, but his hand past thru her hair and moved it like a gentle breeze.
At that moment David started rising toward that light.
Oh, the warmth,
The purity,
The serenity,
He felt like a butterfly gliding in a field of roses on a beautiful spring day.
As he was gently soaring toward that light a huge black gate opened beneath him and sucked him into it.
He was torn away like a baby taken from his mother’s woumb at birth.
He wanted to scream and shout but he couldn’t as he was helplessly and violently falling into the abyss.
Darkness
Then suddenly, the light died away and everything blacked out.
Chapter 4:
In an instant everything blacked out.
As if the drug that he once took faded away in a second, leaving him with a bitter taste of a harsh dark reality.
Cold slowly began to crawl into his body leaving a numbness, as if the blood was circling for the first time in his veins, and a terrible chill followed.
Still he was falling.
He closed his eyes with force and decided to let this bad dream pass away. But the cold was so real, so intense that he felt as if his limps where slowly ripped away from his body.
And then he hit something hard, something colder then the fall.
Though he knew that this descend came to an end, he didn’t
