About this ebook
James Thorn is your ordinary muscle car enthusiast living on the edge of the salt flats. Until one night when his world took an explosive turn. What James thought was a meteor blazing through the night sky turned out to be a space craft.
After rescuing Natalia, the mysterious pilot, from the fiery debris, James agrees to help her recover the Keys of Power which are in danger of being discovered by the dreaded Dragologers who want the power of the keys to enslave unexpecting worlds.
James and Natalia travel to the Darwu dimension, where the Planet of Papawa is located. The first Key is hidden somewhere on this lush jungle planet. They must allude Commander Nodar, one of the Dregologer’s highest ranked officers, detection while trekking through the jungle to the temple city of Balhala.
Will James and Natalia get to the key first or will the Dragologer Commander beat them to it?
This is the first book in The Keys Series.

I love telling stories. I’ve loved science fiction and adventure since I was a kid. I was born in Southern California, home of the movies. I grew up watching Sci Fi adventures with my dad and imagining the possibilities of space. Creating new worlds and aliens for us humans to interact with is exhilarating. History has always been a great interest of mine. The old school, rough and tumble adventures, where the archeologist hero is pursued around the globe by the evil archeologist or treasure hunter is fascinating. You get to explore a time in history that you may not have known much about, in a fun and exciting way. The excitement of the past and the possibility of the future fuel my passion for writing science fiction and adventure stories.

High desert weather report for tonight, skies will be clear, star-viewing will be perfect. Low will be in the mid 60’s,
cracked the radio in the red ‘68 Mustang.
Awesome, weather will be perfect for me to try out the modifications on Allie,
said James as he kicked back in the driver’s seat, his feet crossed on the open door frame.
He pulled to a seated position, slammed the door and started the engine. It revved over red line. The Mustang rumbled and chomped at the bit to be released.
That is a sweet sound,
said James, revving the engine more. He slammed it into gear and was off in a cloud of dust.
Woo,
he yelled as he hauled ass through the desert by moonlight, this can’t get any better.
A sonic boom shattered the night. The Mustang screeched to a halt in a slide, sending dirt all over the hood.
What the hell is that?
he said, jumping out of the car.
A huge fire ball streaked across the sky. He grabbed his phone to record it. He watched the fiery mass crash into the desert floor. The impact knocked him off his feet.
I’ve gotta check that out,
he said, jumping back into the car and hauling ass to the crash site.
The debris scattered everywhere. The Mustang screeched to a halt in front of the flaming mass. He jumped out and
