s we exited the theater, we were hit with a blast of cold winter air. I carried my daughter in one arm; the other held my eight-year-old movie had just ended. It was only seven o’clock, but it was already pitch black. The parking lot was emptying fast, which made my car easy to spot. Especially since I’d accidentally left on the headlights.
