Chapter 1
The Man With The Bag.
Remi has seen the man at several train stations. He’s about 50 years old, 5 foot six inches, grey and short haired, wearing a pair of wire rimmed glasses, white gardening gloves and what appears to be either an old boiler or janitor’s suit.
The man also carries an old laundry bag featuring a red and white tartan design. He grips and carries this heavy bag with all his might as he goes from one silver rubbish box to another. Every now and then he speaks out loud either to himself, someone nearby or someone who isn’t there. It is unclear at times.
Often, Remi has wondered who this man is and what is he doing? This morning he will get another chance to learn more. As Remi waits on the south bound platform of a particular train station, the man appears but just 2 metres to his right. The man’s hands start working furiously through the nearby rubbish box, pulling out newspapers, comics and magazines which are put into the now familiar laundry bag.
A young man is startled as our
