About this ebook

Khrystiana had always been different, a difference that had kept her from being chosen from amongst the other children at the orphanage. She had always been more or less alone, for not only the children mostly avoided her, the staff did as well. Khrystiana would learn on her sixteenth birthday just how different she truly was, due to a series of event that would occur... Events that would prove that she had not been as alone as she had always thought.

Marantha D. Jenelle

Ms. Jenelle made her home in the beautiful state of Texas and shared her home with several service animals over the course of time she was alive. Ms. Jenelle's hobbies were drawing, painting, writing, poetry, calligraphy, glass and metal engraving, glass etching and painting, wood burning, origami, three dimensional folded paper forms and pop-up art creations. She created her designs both in the 'real world' and on her computer, using a mouse, many of which were sent to Teresa Garcia for safe keeping, though her most recent had not been transferred before her death. A victim of bi-polar/schizo-effective disorder, ADHD, and severe agoraphobia, Ms. Jenelle shared her stories and artwork as a way of showing the world that those who suffer mental, emotional or physical handicaps or disabilities can and could still have something of worth to offer the world at large. Her message to the world is/was that they should remember that even a misshapen seed can still produce a beautiful bloom.

Death was in love–and utterly and completely miserable. He had spent an eternity being emotionally detached from the denizens of the myriad worlds and dimensions that he traveled. It seemed, however, that that impish trickster, Cupid, had decided he needed some livening up.

Death sat, floating in midair in the space between realities, with one elbow resting on his crossed legs, his chin in his hand. He idly stirred a tornado into being with one finger of his free hand on the surface of the world he was currently observing.

He finished forming the tornado, and then sent it whirling off on a path of devastation. He watched impassively as the line of souls grew larger as the destructive force ripped an ever widening path through buildings, lands and lives.

He was not even really paying attention as the psychic waves of grief and the wails of those souls touched on his mind. The majority of his mind was distracted with the thoughts of the one being in all of existence that had ever caused him to experience emotion–Khrystiana.

She was the first mortal he had ever actually become aware of in a sense of anything other than a statistic in his Dark Grimoire. The book held the times when every living creature on any world, in any dimension, was
