Right now, she is working on a post-apocalyptic novel, a series about a magic pen for kids plus a poetry project. Her dream is to be a successful writer, maybe not making Hollywood movies but just enough to write all the time because writing is what she loves to do more than anything. JM had haiku published in Bear Creek Haiku, Frogpond and Ardent! JM has three other ebooks published and they are Playing for the Devil, Serving Justice with a Slice of Revenge and Heart of Goddess. She also writes for her blog Candlesticks and Cadavers while enjoying the change of the seasons with her family and Sparky, the cat, in beautiful Pennsylvania.

      He first saw her in the elevator of his dorm. She held the elevator door open for him and his mom. She smiled at him with the whitest, straightest teeth he ever saw. She had a smile that could make anything better. They both got off at the fourth floor and as she walked down the hall, she turned and looked back at him.

      Later, after Carter Masterson listened to his room mate ramble on about his life story, he went to take a shower. He carried his clothes, towel, and shower gel to the showers room while checking his phone for messages; he didn’t see her. She was coming right out of the ladies room wrapped in a towel. Carter walked right into her. Her stuff clattered over the tile floor.

      I’m so sorry, Carter said and as he helped her up. He gathered her things and gave them back to her.
