About this ebook

The explosion of darkness has fallen,
a magical sparkling blue mist rises up above Travers Pond. Bringing an uproar of croaking frogs as they dance and prance in their fig leaf tees.
Celebrating a magical twilight,
where their newborns learn how to leap from tree to tree. The ground rumbles as I descend,
emotionally disturbed; mentally exhausted,
shivering with the cold sweats.
Mail piling up with overdue debts;
that makes me feel blue.
Is just a sample of this poetry story that awaits for you.

Silent Echoes - Luis Costa, Jr

    Intro

Fountain pens scrawl ghostly reverie imprints,

As the eager seeker phantoms its inkiness.

With a hot cup of peppermint tea

to help ease the weakness that lingers in my knees,

I sit in silence attempting to push these keys.

    Stronger they feel, frozen,

cracking my knuckles as I press in a fury to express my emotion.

The sounds screech to an echo, an unpleasant melody.

Throbbing, my veins pulse as I sit in a haze,

wondering whose achy virus has invaded me today.

Taking a few days to recuperate myself,

    recharging my batteries, mellowing out.

I return, fully and emotionally charged,

like a bull hoofing his right foot,

ready to take on any challenge that stands before him.

    I eat a Snickers after a two-day hazy
