I wish to thank my long suffering husband for his unwavering support and unconditional love during the many years of writing. I only hope someday to make him proud. (Love you sweetie) As well as my children who were willing to read and put up with the many nights of late dinners and writing craziness.
This story is dedicated to all the families of servicemen who are valiantly serving our country and won’t be home for Christmas. I wrote this story for my brother in 2005, who has a son that is one of those brave souls.
