The Black Shadow
Chapter 1
Veronica was a young girl who loved the supernatural. She knew everything about ghosts, spirits, and magic. Instead of playing with girls her age, Veronica was always in her bedroom reading horror stories. At least that's what everybody thought. One day, her little sister Bianca asked her why she never wanted to go out and play. Veronica simply told her she couldn't leave the black shadow. Bianca thought her sister lost her mind, You’re reading too much crap.
Whatever,
Veronica replied, frustrated, "ghosts are real."
You’re crazy.
sneered Bianca.
No, I’m not. I can prove it.
Then, prove it, sis.
I will.
Responded Veronica, angrily. Come to my room, at midnight.
See you then.
Said Bianca laughing.
Don’t be late.
I won't.
Bianca sat on the blue couch in the living room, and turned on the flat screen TV. Great,
she sighed. There’s nothing interesting except for ghosts and vampire crap.
Bianca kept on surfing through the channels for a while before she fell asleep.
