Barbara G.Tarn
Barbara G.Tarn had an intense life in the Middle Ages that stuck to her through the centuries. She prefers swords to guns, long gowns to mini-skirts, and even though she buried the warrior woman, she deplores the death of knights in shining chainmail. She likes to think her condo apartment is a medieval castle, unfortunately lacking a dungeon to throw noisy neighbors and naughty colleagues in. Also known as the Lady with the Unicorns, these days she prefers to add a touch of fantasy to all her stories, past and present – when she’s not wandering on her fantasy world of Silvery Earth or in her Star Minds futuristic universe. She’s a writer, sometimes artist, mostly a world-creator and story-teller. Two of her stories received an Honorable Mention at the Writers of the Future contest. She writes, draws, ignores her day job and blogs every other day.

Sunray and Leonora
Leonora Blackmore was eighteen, long raven hair and dark eyes. She was beautiful, elegant, well-mannered and educated, a little princess who impressed even the Genn with her gentleness.
Blondsun noticed Moonstar's snort when Leonora appeared, but also Sunray's admiring stare. The next generation of Blackmore was coming to Jinxie, and unlike her aunt Isabel, Leonora impressed everyone. The only person to shun her was Moonstar.
Blondsun liked Leonora's mild disposition, but wasn't as smitten as Sunray. Twenty-eight years had passed since the arrival of Isabel and Dickon Blackmore. Isabel was eventually married off, but Dickon's offspring welcomed their cousin Leonora, daughter of Dafydd Blackmore.
While the beautiful Leonora failed to catch Blondsun's eye, when he met her ladies-in-waiting – an elder lady and a young maiden – his heart missed a beat. The young one looked familiar but different – both she and the noble maiden had black hair and eyes – and was the elegant reincarnation of Penelope Allistairson, as if Kurt's sister had come back to life after thirty years.
Her name was Meredith
