About this ebook

Three thrilling tales of vampires and violence from the wild imagination of C. C. Blake:

In "Bloody Business," a sexy vampire with a vendetta against organized crime meets a gangster in the wrong place at the wrong time. Their encounter triggers a shooting war in the streets, and a pair of cops are caught in the crossfire. Will anyone make it out with their skin intact?

"I Feel So Numb" presents a new twist on immortality. When two ancient bloodsuckers grow world weary, only one game remains to stimulate them: the most dangerous game imaginable. What follows is a story with high stakes and ferocious action!

In "Night School," the bloodsucker is an amoral teenager with plenty of time to kill. Yearning for company, he sets his sights on turning the girl who rejected him. Unfortunately, a mysterious group has identified him, and are about to take action. This is going to be one hell of a learning experience.

As he did with his "Cave and the Vamp" series of supernatural thrillers (available from Vampires2 Publishing), C. C. Blake once again tackles vampire fiction and injects the genre with new doses of adrenaline and imagination.

C. C. Blake

C.C. Blake has lived across the United States, starting in the suburbs of Detroit, to Massachusetts’ second largest city (Worcester) to the country’s seventh largest city (San Antonio, Texas, that is). He’s has a variety of jobs, working as a substitute teacher, the graveyard shift dishwasher at a haunted Denny’s, lab research monkey and teaching assistant at a second tier college. Currently, he works as an automation consultant for a chemical company on the Northeast side of SAtown (which isn’t as Hellish as it sounds). Blake’s most popular character, irrepressible adventurer Chuck Cave, has appeared in over two dozen stories, including the 2005 Man’s Story 2 Story of the Year Award winner “Chuck Cave and the Vanishing Vixen.” The character’s supernatural thriller stories (which began with the seminal “Cave and the Vamp”) are all being released as a part of Vampires2.com’s initial foray into e-books. These new versions are presented in expanded and revised versions, all are the author’s preferred texts. Be sure to collect them all! In addition to his pulp stories for the 2-Empire (Man’s Story 2, Vampires 2, Androids 2 and Paranormal Romance 2), Blake’s fiction has appeared in several anthologies, including Unparalleled Journeys II (from Journey Books Publishing) and Fearology: Terrifying Tales of Phobias (from Library of Horror Press).

    About the Author

    Bloody Business

Thirteen minutes before Guarre's ten o’clock appointment, a redheaded fox stopped next to his table and glanced down at him.

One hand eased a lollypop between her succulent, full lips. Her other nudged her sunglasses down just far enough to allow her violet eyes to catch his brown ones in the bar’s yellow light. Are you ‘Beeg Meester’? she asked. Her voice was husky, rich with a wild sensuality that simultaneously flaunted its own freedom and begged to be tamed.

Guarre eyed her up and down.

Black, stiletto heel boots. Long legs and gorgeous thighs barely contained in second-skin tight black denim shorts. Brilliant, garnet red hair that framed her heart shaped face, and fell in gentle waves that ended midway down the abundant breasts swelling inside a white cotton AC/DC T-shirt. Through the taut fabric, he saw the outline of the black lace bra her breasts spilled out of. Two pert gumdrops poked up from the tips of her calcium rich melons.

The Mexis call me that, he said. My special friends call me Edward.

She slid the lolly out of her mouth and a thin streamer of saliva connected the round, red head to her lower lip. They tell me, she said, and the saliva snapped, "that you are the man to see about horse, Edward."

He gestured for her to come closer with a tilt of his head. She bent over and leaned in.

If you’re interested, he said, we can go for a little ride together.

Well then, giddyap! She slowly licked her lips. Guarre didn’t want that delicious motion to end.

He adjusted his pants. Let’s step into my office.

She placed the tip of the lollypop against her lower lip and slowly sucked the head in. Then, she playfully tugged on his tie, urging him to rise. She didn’t have to try very hard, he already was standing tall and proud even before he got to his feet.

The bartender gave Guarre a cock eyed glare, which silently demanded, where do you think you’re going?

I’ll be back before our guest arrives, Guarre said to him, tossing a Hell Man, What Would You Do? grin his way.

The girl giggled when he led her into the rear alley. He caught her lollypop by the stem and tossed it into the nearby open dumpster.

Without the candy, she looked hungry. He loved a wanton bitch in heat.

I don’t have any money, she whispered, Could I interest you in a . . . Trade? A horsey ride for a pony up? Her finger slid across legs, over crotch, up between her bounteous breasts, to a twist of hair.

    He offered her a
