About this ebook

“I’ll make you famous.”

She’d spoken the words, clicked off a few pictures and then scampered off toward the rodeo arena leaving him more than a little dizzy with lust. J.D. Stone, owner of the Stone’s Throw ranch is in town for business but the sassy woman has him thinking of planting his boots under her bed. Regina Carlysle

Regina Carlysle is an award winning, multi-published author. She likes writing that is hot, edgy, and often humorous, and puts this trademark stamp on all of her stories. Though Regina lived most of her life in Texas, she now resides in sunny Florida where she is a doting, fawning, and over-indulgent mother to her two kids. When she's not penning steamy erotic tales or hot contemporary stories, she loves long chats with friends who help her stay sane and keep her laughing. The Menger’s longtime bartender stood close by and began to industriously wipe down the aged wood counter. How ya doin’, Luke?

Pretty damn good, J. D. You? Are you in town for business or pleasure?

Luke grinned. You don’t do that often, do you?

Isn’t that just the plain damn truth?

He’d taken over the prosperous Stone’s Throw Ranch ten years ago following the death of his dad, John David, and his life had never been the same. Sure, he loved it. Ranching was in his blood and buried in his bones, but it darn sure hadn’t left him time for much of anything else. Rarely did he drive the eighty miles into town for
