About this ebook

Now and Later are twin brothers, but not just that, they’re twin princes. They’re exactly alike, except they’re not. Now’s more likely to set things on fire and get scolded by adults, and Later’s more likely to study his math or practice his swordfighting.

Both of them are lucky young boys, not just because they’re the princes of the kingdom of Possibilitatum, but because their parents, King Orion and Queen Patientia, spend a lot of time thinking and planning (and worrying) about how to make them grow up to be good people who might actually be able to rule a kingdom someday.

Of course, none of that stops Now and Later from having as much fun as possible anyway, riding elephants, eating choco jelly blossoms, going to circus parks, and wandering the halls of the Palace, peeking into hallways and doorways they shouldn’t.

One day when they get a little bit older, on their birthday, their carefree life is interrupted by a scary, but awesome choice they each have to make. This choice will change their lives forever, lead each of them into a thousand crazy adventures, and make them the people they will eventually become.

For parents, the book provides a month of bedtime stories, but kids can read it for themselves too. In fact, be careful if you give it to your kids to read, because you might not get your e-reader back for a while!

Jim McCarthy

Jim McCarthy believes he has been stung by bees more times than anyone he has ever met... Jim's love of stories and storytelling goes back a long way. Reading at 2 years old, he read stories again and again and then retold them to himself in different orders and with different endings after he had finished reading them. Today, Jim is the co-founder and CEO of an internet-based company called Goldstar (www.goldstar.com) that sells tickets to all kinds of great live shows, including sports, theatre, comedy, and music. But his loves of stories and telling stories has never stopped. In fact, he not only uses story telling to amuse and teach his own two children, but he uses it as a management technique as well. Jim lives in Pasadena, California, and was stung by hundreds of bees at once on the island of Guam in 1973.
