    TO THE READER:

Contextual change may be found in any paraphrasing, translation, revision, or redirected material, if for no other reason than its relationship to the passing of time and events.

DEAR DAUGHTER" is not to be considered as a precise or complete rendition of the Book of Proverbs (originally directed strictly to the male) from any biblical publication, such as the King James, Masoretic Text, Good News Bible, Revised Standard Version, Amplified Version and so on, as they are many.

It is rather a lay paraphrasing of ancient sayings utilizing many reference sources. Some of the more repetitious proverbs have been omitted entirely, . Nevertheless, some specific theme reoccurrence remains whenever it was felt this remained integral to the over purposes.

Every effort however, has been made to retain the original cadence of the Proverb Verses.

    Dear Daughter:

Solomon was a King who has been called the. wisest man who ever lived. He said that if you want to become wise, understand saying's with deep meanings, and receive the discipline of wisdom, then you will want to read these Proverbs. They can give a simple person comprehension and knowledge, and can even add to the wisdom of women who are already wise. The educated will receive further guidance and understand the meaning of a proverb, it’s figures of speech and the deep implications.

The. beginning of wisdom is to have respect and fear of the Lord. Only foolish people despise wisdom and discipline. Daughter, listen to what your parents tell you. Their advice will be like a beautiful necklace or a wreath of flowers to grace your head.

Daughter, if bad people tempt you, don’t go along with them. They say,

"Come on; let’s find somebody to beat up! Let’s just go after some idiot for the fun of it. They might think they’re better than us when we find them, but they’ll be dead or wish they were when we're through with them. Hey, come on, join up with us. We’ll all share whatever we steal.

All for one and one for all. What about it"

Daughter, don’t even get near people like that. Stay away! Their feet are always running to do evil things.

They're always ready to kill or commit violence of some kind. These people love just setting a trap for themselves and they will eventually die in that same trap. Everyone who is greedy for material things and those who live by violence will also lose their life because of it.

Listen, can't you hear Wisdom calling loudly for you. She is crying out in the streets and wherever there are people together. She says " how long, you foolish people, will you
