About this ebook
The fourth book in the Daisy Weal Series
Daisy Weal was gifted with extraordinary powers. Her early years were spent learning how to control them, learning how to fit in and learning how to be human.
Daisy had just celebrated her sixteenth birthday when the Crenian came to earth.
His race had been wiped out by a genetic shift that had been introduced centuries ago, and instinctively his first act was to attack Daisy, before he realised that her powers were at least equal to his own.
Eventually he joined forces with her and together they unravelled the mystery of his race’s condition, and set out to prevent the same thing from happening to the human race.
Daisy and the Crenian were getting uncomfortably close to the truth and, as a diversion, the President of the United States was kidnapped and Daisy’s friends started to disappear.
She discovered that a sinister plot was being hatched by the being that she had seen as her friend and mentor. Once more she calls on the Crenian and together they meet the enemy in a final confrontation.

Acknowledgements
My children have complained that I have not mentioned them at all in the acknowledgements of my books, which is actually not true as I mentioned my eldest in the previous one. However, their point is well taken and I will use this opportunity to make things right.
Thank you to my eldest son Edward for being the first to buy an E-Book copy, and thank you for not being too critical.
Thank you to my youngest son Shaun, who has always encouraged me to do things provided that he can avoid being accidently killed.
Then of course there are my two grandsons Robin and Alexander who live in Finland and whose names I have used for one of my characters.
Dedication
This book is dedicated to my wife Kim in our 50th year of Marriage, for her help, understanding, and forbearance over the years.
Foreword
Daisy Weal, book one in the series
Daisy Weal lived a normal life, right up until the moment she was born. Then things went downhill...
Now one little girl must face the reality that she can do things that others can't and discover how dangerous it could be if they found out. So her early years were spent learning to control her gifts, trying to fit in, to be human. It wasn't easy. There were mistakes...big mistakes, some of which couldn't be made right.
But she isn't as alone as she thought. She forms an inseparable bond with a very large dog named Bruce. Together they will face the world and discover that as much as Daisy has tried to fit in, it might ultimately be impossible.
Should she accept that she was not completely human or fully embrace the part of her that was?
Daisy Weal and The Monster,
Book two in the series
But now Daisy is ten and as her knowledge of the universe expands, she discovers a monstrous being from another reality that is a serious threat to Humanity. Can her understanding of it be enough to prevent disaster?
Would she have enough time to deal with this threat, before a second emerges that was trapped in another dimension. How can she know that the gateway has been inadvertently opened by a curious scientist and that the fate of the entire universe now hangs in the balance?
Despite all of her efforts to maintain a front of normality against these impossible odds, she was eventually noticed and recruited into a secret service specifically for her special talents. Would those talents be enough to enable her to deal with one monstrous being, one dimensional horror and at the same time stop a madman from destroying London.
Must she finally face these threats alone and make the final sacrifice to save reality itself?
Daisy Weal and Sir Charles,
Book three in the series
She had reached thirteen, and was settling into becoming a teenager. She met Amy, who became her constant companion and friend.
Daisy was teleporting the necessary personnel, equipment and supplies to Moon Base, when she discovered cameras spying on her. Sir Charles Wilberforce Prendergast had discovered Daisy's secrets.
Fearing that her powers might be a danger to his own plans, he decided to force her to work for him. If that was not possible, he would eliminate her. He turned to his assassins.
Following several failed attempts, one of which left Amy seriously injured and in hospital, Daisy realised she couldn't allow Sir Charles to continue. It was time for him to answer for his crimes.
And the story continues,
with Daisy Weal and the Last Crenian…

Chapter One
Twilnhump
Finally the house was rebuilt, and although Harriet loved her relatives dearly she was quite relieved to have the house to herself once more. So farewells were said, and the Weals all returned to 12 Trendal Place. Paul had presided over a remarkable job. The house and furnishings having been replaced to such a high standard, that it would have required an expert to tell that anything had actually happened. Of course replacing all of the personal items that had been lost in the explosion was not possible, but time would take care of that. It had taken somewhat longer than Paul had first indicated, being completed a few days before Daisy’s sixteenth birthday.
Today was that day, and as we all know about Daisy’s feeling on the subject of birthdays, we will say no more about it. Well we wouldn’t, if it had not been for the presents. A shuttle was specially prepared to carry them from the Moon. As everyone there had, it seems, decided to buy her one. The gift shops that had been provided in the newly finished third dome to service the two hotels, did a roaring trade, with our friend who runs trains, aeroplanes and record shops etc., selling them at less than cost when he found out who they were for.
All seven shuttles now plied regularly between the moon and Branson Field when no military use was required of them, carrying passengers at a fare of roughly the cost of flying between London and New York. The Hotels in Dome three were always full, and as the trip cost the Star Fleet virtually nothing, a very healthy profit was being made, which helped the Moon Base become virtually self sufficient.
Some security measures had to be introduced as a precaution, because there is always the threat of terrorist attack. So Branson field had a proper airport terminal, with x-ray checks and a departure gate etc., because wherever there are humans, there are always nut cases. But you knew that anyway, so let’s move along.
Daisy sat, and stared at the enormous pile of gifts that she had spent the best part of the day so far unpacking. Soap and Shampoo would never be an issue for her ever again, provided that the stuff didn’t have sell by dates. Though, what she would do with all the fancy cases that they came in, she had no idea. Looking around, she counted thirty six little models of Moon base Daisy, but these were not a problem, as they would be given to St Damien’s, and other local Primary Schools. There were several Moon base diaries, which she really, really had no need for, so she intended to pass those on to her Parents and friends.
Ok that’s
