Foreword
My journey into Photography has taught me 2 things about the profession; 1) We have amazingly talented photographers who’ve spend decades in the profession and believe that it’s an art and shouldn’t be done for mere royalties. 2) Millennials, Gen Y and Gen Z who’ve taken technology as a blessing and would go out and experiment, and also make some supplemental income while having fun experimenting.
Being from the later side, I also believe technology is a blessing and would recommend people with a decent DSLR and access to internet to explore the exciting world of stocks.
The trend and quality has come quite far in Stock Photography and you, as a Stock Photographer, have to evolve accordingly. Knowing the basics, knowing the trends and positioning accordingly will help you reap the rewards without wasting much resources and time.
Success in Stock Photography starts with the first upload and I hope this guide will be an inspiration in getting you started for that first one.
Best wishes.
