I have read these poems with enjoyment, and some of them I have read again and again, and they are worth the rereading. Some of them raise themselves from simple verse into the realms of worthwhile poetry. I have read some that have clutched at my heart because of their sensitivity, their innocence, their lack of pretension and their lateral approach to emotion.

Steve Franklin Palmer has obviously put his heart and soul into his work, and I feel that in the reading of his poems many will find solace and comfort.

Definitely, a bedside book for those bleak or lonely hours when the voice of a friend is what one needs to set things in order.

Or at those times when it would be nice to settle down with a warm and comfortable feeling; to know someone else has also experienced loss and victory: despair and ecstasy; loneliness and companionship; but has come out the other side, more in tune with themselves, and content with his or her share of this existence, their life.
