Diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of 13, Joshua turned to writing poetry in some of his darkest moments. My World

To see a world

Burning all around

The pain, the suffering

To see this world, turn to dust.

This world, is my world

Full of hurt, full of pain.

My heart, it bleeds

My skin, it rots

My limbs, they fall

My eyes, look sad.

For this world, is my world of sorrow

Full of Suffering, full of lies.

To see a world

So cruelly made, so cruelly destroyed

To be burned alive

My world

Has died.

The Soul of the Lost

I feel lost

I feel different

Not the same, as I’ve always been

I look for signs

Of a change, that may be near.

No change found

No light seen

No end, to this seemingly endless night.

I search for a light

I search for hope

I search for my dreams

To come back to my side.

This soul is tortured

This soul is tampered

This soul is mine

This soul is lost.

My voice it screams

To balance the pain, with the hurt

This agony, is too much to bare

My skin it bleeds, the blood of the forgotten.

My soul is found, in the valley of death

It shall live forever, for all eternity

For this soul is pure

This soul is mine.
