About this ebook

80 years ago, Darren traveled the woods of Transylvania, trying to piece together old legends and hoping to meet a real vampire. His dreams come true, but become a nightmare that haunt him even to his death.

He did meet a vampire, but one more terrible than the ones in books. This one doesn’t sparkle, it doesn’t play with its food, and it has promised to return for Darren on the night that Darren dies.

(This story appears in the collection, The Strange Occurrences at Bedside Manor).
