Twenty-eight days of unbearable waiting have passed. It is early evening now and Nubia, the Goddess, is being prepared for her night of inferno and ecstasy. The Goddess embodies a creature of exquisite beauty. She lives among women who watch her day and night; who feed her and caress her and treasure her; and from one lunar event to the next it is their mission to build up the fire inside her into blistering heat.
