INTRODUCTION

SO DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU; DO NOT BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM GOD. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU AND HELP YOU; I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS HAND. – ISAIAH 41:10

This is a testimony in which each word written is used to give the utmost respect to the Creator of all: Jesus Christ. Imani’s testimony is prefaced with the notion that God is a God, Whom chooses to strengthen and use, whatever, or whomever He wants to. He does this at any given time or place – to glorify His Holy Name. We find that God displays His powers in these ways, simply because He is God of all creation; and He is a God with many plans for His creation. This written work is descriptive of God’s brilliant ability to display great strength in a vessel that based upon physical characteristics, appears weak upon first glance.

Imani – is a beautiful, youthful, 40-something, Nuyorican woman (a Nuyorican is a person born in New York with Puerto Rican heritage). She is a mother, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and lover of Jesus Christ. My honest to God observations of Imani are summed up in these words: Imani is a woman who possesses a heart full of God’s faith, hope, and love. This testimony is hers to share, in order to build up readers’ hearts in this world of much despair. This writing is a testament to God’s faithfulness to strengthen the brethren in God’s Army, through our suffering and pain. Undeniably, Imani possesses a certain confidence that does not come from within her, but this confidence, is what we call: "Holy Ghost confidence."

Now - if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, we hope that you are excited to read of what God is doing for one of His chosen people (Imani) in these current, chaotic end times – topped off with much loss and distress. Believer, our honest prayer is that you are intrigued, and that you may be strengthened by our God, with the words written. Perhaps, you are not a believer in Jesus Christ – and if this is the case, the greatest prayer emerges from the hearts of Imani and me. Our prayer (laced with great hope) is that nothing will stop you from reading this testimony, and that nothing will stop you from believing that Jesus Christ is the true savior of the world.

Certainly, this testimony is founded on nothing other than the profoundly simplistic and beautiful notion of the L-O-V-E of GOD. In the human experience, is not love, love? Is not pain, pain? Is not gain, gain? Is not loss, loss? Is not evil, evil? And – Anyone with spiritual eyes can see that in the world-at-large, the sickest of evils have penetrated the very foundation of the earth; and darkness continues to try to devour the Holy Light of God. In fact, the evil nature of Satan and his use of human beings is evident in this recount of Imani’s testimony. But, the root of Imani’s testimony is this fact: as children of the Most High God, we must always remember that by faith, we are shielded from the evils and deceptions of Satan.

Of course, without faith, we know that it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Absolutely, in the reading of this testimony, you will see that Imani has lost much in her life. And an inevitable question will arise here: What is her gain? Again, the answer is very simple, yet profound: it is that very concept of faith. The level of faith that dwells within the spirit of Imani is very pleasing in the sight of our LORD. Based upon the case of faith presented within this writing, we know (by faith) that God’s truth will hit each and every sincere reader of this testimony, with Holy Fire from God! Amen!
