Scorched Corona is a collection of poetry spanning ten years of authorship, from age 12 to 22. A timeline of reflections in raw, unedited form, Scorched Corona views the world through a youth's burnt eyes, a pair each and every one of us has had the burden to wear. This is a free ebook.
E.A. Bowen
Born at St. Peters in 1986, the Challenger crash bursting over the media flames, I was thrust into this life as a writer and have spent the past twenty first exploring the fascinating and ever growing literary world around me. I current live in the shadows of the Catoctin Mountains, juggling a life between many worlds. Inspiration trickles from all the rich sources around me. Writing lets me travel to the books I want to read and creates worlds both frightening and beautiful.

Angelic faery
Of mortal lands
With shattered wings
Flickering slightly
Your chastity weeps
Of late disgrace
Waxed tenderly not and
Scarred burnt cheeks
O passion's imp
Beloved scorched
-Seared in blackness-
Wake your dark eyes
To ruby wings unbroken
Graciousness restored
With melted sorrow
Angelic faery breathe
In immortal lands
In Darkness Lays the Dragon
In darkness lays the dragon
Where I shall slay it by my hand,
With sword and crest in gallantry
