INTRODUCTION
Definition -
Entrepreneur: [ahn-truh-pruh-nur-noor] noun, plural -neurs [/ ahn-truh-pruh-nœr], Fr.
1. a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
2. an employer of productive labor; contractor.
The dictionary defines an Entrepreneur to be a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk. But what is the real in-depth definition of a successful Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneurship is a word thrown around quite often in tough economic times and a label placed easily on those that have made money from creating a concept or starting a business. Reality remains that entrepreneurship is much more than just making money or executing an idea. It is an ART, an ART that despite taking years to master has shifted significantly in the recent years with the introduction of the Internet, social media and unemployment.
Who is a Master of Entrepreneurship in our time?
We as entrepreneurs usually perceive the world from a very different perspective when it comes to one’s own growth, inherent risks, and leadership. In addition to being analytic and ambitious, we usually observe the world with a constant eye for change and improvement, and often look for opportunities where others are afraid to look or venture.
Our mindset can identify structuring a business as a game and winning being the only outcome. We are flexible in understanding that a business is not created on its commencement, but rather when it is beginning to emerge into what we planned it out to be. We are passionate about our business and the initiative. Although, we do not get emotionally attached, we have to be realistic within ourselves that it can either have a positive or negative impact. As we progress, we learn to think logically with our head, not our heart.
We strive for success and recognize that ideas are nothing without the proper execution. In other words, we can take any idea and customize it by adding our own creativity to any concept. In fact, customizing a concept isn’t a choice; it’s a necessity if we want our business to be successful. We often chuckle at those that ask us for inspiration, as we know that ideas are everywhere and as simple to find by observing at all the daily possessions we use and in this way improve them.
We remain content in having pride with whom we surround ourselves and our business. The surrounding matter because it is a fact that only the finest individuals will help us as we grow our business, forecast its future and decide on a course of philanthropy.
Last but not least, we remain consistent until all is prevailed and maintain flexibility that at any point in time our strategy can change in order to finish what we started to attain success.
Certainty remains that for us as entrepreneurs, wealth and money are NEVER the goal. Yes, it will factor in our minds, however the ultimate goal is to accomplish the growth to something eminent out of nothing. Understanding that the money element will come on its own due time, is what differentiates real entrepreneurs and businessmen. We are in this for the game. To prove to ourselves that we can create, build and execute while others dream. We act while others fear.
This is the definition of successful entrepreneurship. Not one defined by a single line or a single sentence,
