Ramayana The Beginning Lesson Plan is designed for use with middle to high school students. This lesson plan is based on literature that is almost 4,000 years old. India is an important part of our world today and students should appreciate and learn about the Indian culture. The Ramayana is one of the greatest epics from India and is a window into the culture of India. This plan provides the materials and procedures for teaching a portion of the Indian epic Ramayana. It is designed so that it can be used for home-schooling. In the classroom it can be used as a complete source, supplemental source material, as resources for independent study, or however the teacher decides to use all or some of the material.
