About this ebook
An excerpt taken straight from Lüc Carl's upcoming memoir, The Drunk Diet: How I Lost 40 Pounds…Wasted, a beer-soaked tale of a long-haired, leather-clad rock 'n roll party-maker who transformed a whiskey-and-5:00AM cheeseburger lifestyle into a wildly successful weight-loss regime.
Full of charismatic wit and insane stories about his life, this excerpt is a mix of memoir and advice: laugh and be inspired while he takes you along on his hilarious journey to become healthier and fitter, and live vicariously through a guy who likes to have a good time, ALL the time (even if that now means running 8 miles a day).

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lüc Carl is an inspiration. The full book should prove even better. I found this really funny. There is more to it than beer.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A funny look at a diet of beer. While that description makes it sound simple, the topic opens the book up to many interesting events.

About the Author
What you are about to read is a true story about a man who had enough: a man who was tired of being insecure, tired of being overweight, tired of being hung over, and tired of being tired. He dug down deep and found inspiration within himself despite having been taught his entire life—without even knowing it—that mediocrity was adequate. That man is me, Lüc Carl. The Drunk Diet is my story: a story of triumph, success, and the pursuit of happiness while still maintaining my status as a real person, not some airbrushed jackass that hasn’t drank a beer in six years.
On the following pages, which I have so graciously given you for free with complete faith that you will purchase the whole damn thing because it’s that good, you will laugh, cry, be inspired, and come to the conclusion that I am not messing around. If you’ve ever wanted to change something in your life—anything, anywhere, anyhow—The Drunk Diet is for you. You can be a normal human being and be shredded, happy, and healthy. I am living proof. Enjoy!

It was six P.M. on a Saturday, and I’d just gotten a text from one of my bartenders, informing me that a squirrel had run into St. Jerome’s. Apparently, the little fucker had tried to get out through the back, crashed into a mirror, and then ran back out the front door. Several hours later I was at work, trying to sort out some problem with the
