Reviews for Ancient Rome and Pompeii

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Summary:This book teaches about Ancient Rome and the different phases of "government' it went through. It also includes maps and fun facts to keep your brain reeling. It has a chapter about the different structures you will find in Rome and what they were used for. In one part of the book it has a learn Latin section which i thought was very neat for teaching children. It also talks about some of the important people from Rome and what their daily lives were like. Another section included is about Pompeii in which a volcano erupts and destroys the town and kills many people.Personal Reaction:I like this book. I found that I actually learned a lot about history and stuff. It kept it interesting so I never seemed bored. Classroom Extension Ideas:1. Use this to teach a history lesson to class2. Use this to learn about some famous Romans that changed our lives and history.
