- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A lovely collection of prayers with an ecological or creation spirituality theme.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Good selection from multitude of sources
A selection of prayers and meditations from a wide variety of sources: poetry, religion, wise men and women. This book can help us express gratitude and allow us to feel part of something bigger than ourselves.
Many of the selections could simply be understood by reading some poetry, but overall a decent enough
selection that anyone should be able to find a specific idea they are looking for. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book contains prayers and poems from many traditions, all having to do with nature, the earth and its creatures. They are well chosen and categorized in a useful manner. There is also a "Calendar of Prayer" at the end with suggestions for days it might be most appropriate to use these prayers. A very useful resource for anyone who might have responsibility for planning Earth Day services or similar events, whether religious or secular. Also helpful for private prayer.
