This is what more 21st century poetry should aspire to: explorations of and conversations with and within a world that is both borderless and meticulously categorized. It is bilingual, multicultural, written with a deft touch and an unself-conscious wit. Of particular note is the centerpiece of the collection, the long poem "House" that explores language, a word, a concept, in ways both seemingly obvious and fascinatingly enlightening.
