About this ebook
Amelia Lockwood doesn't mean to sound greedy. She's got a fabulous career in television, a posh apartment, and four fiercely loyal and wickedly funny friends. The only thing she's missing is a husband. So she swallows her pride, signs up for dating boot camp, and enlists the help of a professional—an acidic New Yorker with a black belt in "tongue fu"—who'll help Amelia apply proven business-marketing principles to finding her dream man. Amelia's first assignment is to track down all the lovers she's ever lost—from the guy who dumped her during Live Aid to her most painfully recent ex, he-whose-name-shall-forever-remain-unspoken—because her future happiness depends on her tackling lesson number one: If you can't learn from your past, how will you ever move forward?

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was a fun, frothy book I picked up from the New Fiction section of my library. It is typical chick-lit fare, which means it follows the adventures of a single woman (this time in Dublin) and her fabulous friends. Yes, it follows the Bridget Jones formula, but detours a bit at the end which was kind of refreshing. The 80s/90s flash backs were fun to read, if a bit over the top. After a rough week, I was in the mood for something light and silly, and this fit the bill.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Remind Me Again Why I Need a Man is one of the best "Chick Lit" books of the year. And I have no problem saying that in print. It was smart, it was funny, it was a not as predictable as one may expect. And best of all, it is set in Ireland!!
