Description

Today we present you with our long awaited, highly anticipated interview with Pamela Des Barres A woman who really needs no introduction- but we’ll give you one anyway. This woman is a legend. She is the author of 5 books, and maybe you’ve heard of her work? I’m with the Band: Confessions of a Groupie? This woman is such a rock star in her on right that when we were out vintage shopping with her today, she was recognized and called out as royalty. And she really is that- rock royalty.
Pamela first got her start back in the 60s as she was mentored by Frank Zappa, she was in the all girls experimental band the GTOs. She is a best selling author and now writes for Please Kill Me. Pamela is one of the rare few that has been there and done that with biggest rock gods of our time. We’re talking Jimmy Page, Mick Jagger, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison and the list goes on.
But beyond her sexy fun filled life and adventures, Pamela is a shining, guiding light in the world. She facilitates writing workshops all over the US, Canada and England, bringing women and people together to unleash their inner muse and tap in to their own creativity. These workshops forge life long friendships, and anyone who has been to one can attest to their life changing quality.
Check out Miss P’s site pameladesbarres.com for details on upcoming writing workshops (theres ones in Portland and Vegas this December!), her incredible Rock Tours in LA (next one is December 2nd!) and stay tuned for details on the huge doll convention she is organizing this April in Las Vegas!
