About this ebook
The weapon is codenamed "Razor"—the brainchild of the brilliant minds at Dreamland—a mobile chemical laser system with a range of 600 kilometers capable of downing anything that flies. The destruction of an American aircraft over northern Iraq suggests the inexplicable and unthinkable: a vengeful foe now possesses the lethal technology. It is fear that draws a retired warrior back to the battlefield, and sends Dreamland's best pilots to the skies to determine what the enemy has and to help take it away from him. But politics threatens to crush a covert engagement that must be won in the air and on the ground, unleashing a devastating rain of friendly fire that could ultimately annihilate a nation's champions ... and perhaps Dreamland itself.
Dale Brown
Dale Brown was a much decorated US Air Force Captain aboard B-52s and FB111 fighter bombers, and participated in numerous top secret tests and exercises held to simulate an actual strategic war. He became a recognised expert on air warfare and appeared on American TV as a commentator during the Gulf War. Only a man with Dale Brown’s background could provide the detailed authenticity that makes his novels such compulsive reading.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Can you read this book a second time ? Yes, to my mind that says it all.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Not one of Brown's finest. The plot marches on in very neat detail and it's unbelievable. First, the reader mispronounces "ELINT" with a short E...many times. Then, the author would have us believe that a B-52, even a highly modified one can land on a 1500 foot runway created with metal matting. A base is established in the middle east using a half dozen guys, mostly pilots...pilots can do anything. Finally, the reader slogs through specifics that don't make sense because they aren't real. I finally gave up because I have better things to do with my time then listen to Charlie Brown's teacher drone on in my ear.
