He is the author of more than 1000 scientific works about history, as well as scientific-publicist articles, textbooks and tutorials. He is the founder of a scientific school which is engaged in research of the relations between Azerbaijan and Europe. At present the Director of Institute of History ANAS, the head of department “Old and Middle Ages history” at Baku State University. He is MP of Azerbaijan. Rewarded with high orders of by the presidents of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and Ilham Aliyev.view less
