He has ministered to many people carrying significant wounds from their past and is acquainted with sorrow and grief in his own life, having lost his mother at age thirteen and his four-year-old son to a drowning accident in 2008. He lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with his wife of twenty-eight years. They have four children and one grandson.view less
