Qualified and working as an accountant she has spent her life quietly filling up journals with her poetry, a secret passion she has shared with only a handful of people. Maria's writing absorbed the emotional turmoil that comes with living life and all the trials and tribulations it contains, and dealing with the constant questioning of life's meaning and purpose. Seeking more fulfilment than her profession enabled, and coming to an age where she began shedding her fears and insecurities she felt it was time to see her works published, a dream she had always harboured.
