poetry for over a decade. Her First book, Look in My Eyes Feel My Pain marked the
debut of a gifted poet who is a very outspoken advocate for her community. She
writes in hopes to inspire and encourage someone who may be going through hard
times and feel they are alone. She has a motto “Speaking for the Unspoken”, which
basically means she is speaking for those too afraid to speak for themselves. She has
performed in numerous community events, Tedx Muskegon, Tedx Grand Rapids and
numerous other prestigious events. She has many fans that she encourages to follow
their dreams and never forget they hold the key to their destiny. “This is a God given
talent in which I try to utilize to help others going through similar situations or know of
someone who has gone through some of the things I touch on and use my words as a
positive reinforcement. Not doing this for fame or fortune but to make a difference in
my community and leave a powerful imprint in my readers mind.”view less
