Eder was born in Baltimore City, Maryland on June 8th 1947 at 5:57 a.m. of loving parents, William and Gloria Eder, a.k.a. affectionately calling each other, Bud and Suze. An average student throughout grades 1-12. He excelled in College at 3.85 G.P.A. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school, during the Vietnam War, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1972. At age 72, self-employed with a successful arbitration/mediation practice. He and his wife Karen moved to Delaware in 2016, where he enjoys the beach, fishing and writing books.
His collective bargaining career had scanned 53 years and is still ongoing in his arbitration practice. In his spare time, he plays chess and makes walking sticks.
He has written three children’s books and now writing a fourth. Gary’s experience as an author is wide ranging; as he is also, writing a book on the Art of Negotiation, entitled; “A Window of Opportunity.”view less
