His new musical, The Doughnut Girls, received its first staged reading last year to significant popular acclaim (grown men cried; women too) and is currently being shopped for full-scale production. Selections from his work, War Poems, were published in 2005.
He is currently working on a collection of short stories titled Stories From Monette, Ark. which highlight the cadence and "musicality" of regional voices. Even though he's never been to Arkansas. Talk about hubris.
