Since the age of 13, Mr. Sumano's heart has been captured...view moreAriel Reyes Sumano was born in Oaxaca de Juarez, Oaxaca, Mexico, but now resides in Santa Cruz, California, United States. Since the age of 13, Mr. Sumano's heart has been captured by the city of Santa Cruz, although he still sporadically visits his hometown. Mr. Sumano graduated from Santa Cruz High School and then took aviation classes at Cabrillo College and at the nearby Watsonville airport. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, Mr. Sumano had to stop taking his aviation classes. Although he stopped taking his aviation classes, Mr. Sumano's head remained in the clouds, therefore he turned to writing short stories.
