To my brothers and sis...view moreMy name is Tonya Drummond. I was raised in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Haygood Reed and Patricia Ann Drummond, whom I love both daily and miss sincerely. To my brothers and sister, Roosevelt, Anthony, Samuel, Dwayne, Corey, and Rita my sister. My husband, Randolph, and Rodney Greene, who helped in our upbringing. As well as my children, Nefertiti, Quamel, Kyleek, and Kyle Anthony. I was inspired to write this book because of my mother, Mrs. Patricia Drummond, who said she would no longer be around for me to cry on her shoulder about medicine being prescribed. But she will be with me in spirit.
So, America, I would like to dedicate this book to my mother, Mrs. Patricia Drummond, and my grandmother Fannie Mae Drummond by saying what they taught me, and that is “I refuse to rob Peter to pay Paul because honesty is the best policy.” I'm going to continue to live, for living is my dream.view less
